It seems some readers have found a bug report with the javax.servlet package number. This problem can occur for many reasons. Let’s get to know them below. javax package. Servlet. Javax. A servlet package is a set of classes and references that describe and define calls between a servlet class and a particular runtime provided for that class’s model by the corresponding servlet container.
/home/lauiji/Desktop/SSH/src/com/ssh/EncodingFilter.java:6:21Java: javax hardware. No servlet
In this case,Those usually don’t have the exact matching JAR package. What is lost here is the servlet, which must be packaged under the execution center. Only the add-jar package migrates through the service, i.e. the boot environment.
- Import dependencies, open file > — Project struts true > — Segments > — Dependencies by choosing a different dependency library and selecting the tomcat installation directory, i.e. H lib directory in the runtime. The following JAR file may have the same dependencies
If you encounter this error after importing an existing expert project into the Eclipse IDE, it may mean that the http servlet is indeed available in the project and therefore you need to include it as the classpath.
1. Add execution on target server
In this solution, you will most likely add your desired server runtime as a design aspect of your current application. Since the replay servers already have dependency learning servlets, they are included in your awesome project and hence the error is basically gone.
2. Add Maven Dependency
Another option would be to include servlet-api in the Maven dependency itself. This will also fix the specific error.
Don’t forget to run the
mvn update command after injecting the dependencies.

What do you mean by including everything in my compiler? I can’t import javax.servlet.* because the package doesn’t exist in my default version… someone said the real build path… the path no doubt what it is… can anyone point to C:/? ?? ?
You must be completelytake classpaths. When you do this, include the JAR files containing the Servlet API in the classpath. The exact name in the JAR depends on the specific version of the server. Sometimes it is often called j2ee.jar, others servlet.jar, and in recent releases of TC it is servlet-api is.jar or jsp-api.jar (or close approximations). Transfer them to the
/common/lib directory, which I accept.
I currently have J2sdk 1.4.2_05 and Tomcat 5.9.9

I am using J2SDK1.4.2_06 and Tomcat 5.0.28. This worked well until the resection. But do I see them now when I try to compile all the servlets? I am getting 2 misunderstandings saying that “package javax.servlet. * incomplete, as well as the javax.servlet.http package. * doesn’t actually exist”?Download this software now to fix your PC and improve its performance.
